Options for meetings and groups

The Moby Dick's spacious public rooms and rambling bay-front grounds are especially well suited for small focus groups, staff retreats, family reunions, and weekend workshops, as well as celebrations and special occasions, including weddings and receptions. Public areas include two living rooms on the main floor and a small lounge on the second floor. The restaurant dining room seats 30. There  are a number of paths winding through the woods adjoining the hotel and seating areas in the gardens and throughout the grounds. A piano, television, videos and c.d.s are available for guests.
Catering is available for all events. The restaurant is open to guests for dinner with 24-advanced reservations most evenings.  Please inquire about our upcoming special events open to the public.
The Yurt is new since 1999, and has a heated bamboo floor. Although we cannot serve food or beverages because of the flooring, it is possible to set up meeting and gathering spaces for up to 30 participants for most types of events. There are ample electrical outlets in the Yurt for slide shows, lighting, computers, etc.
The Sauna is an incredible bonus! Situated immediately overlooking Willapa Bay, there are benches on the Sauna Deck available for gazing at Long Island and the myriad types of birds constantly flying overhead or stalking waterland prey. Utilize this space for small conversation groups or while waiting for your sauna reservation.

"...It was exactly what I'd hoped to find on holiday...beautiful natural surroundings, a stylishly funky space, excellent cuisine highlighting local (and homegrown) food, peace and relaxation (ah! the sunset sauna, the garden, the soaking tub....). Stumbled upon it by happy accident and ended up staying an extra night...." traveladvisor.com
